The week shows Korean contemporary culture operating as a centre rather than an export story. Local galleries, institutions, patrons and artists meet an international fair audience without losing the specificity of Seoul’s own scene.
Plan it well
COEX is only one part of the week. Build the trip around district evenings in Hannam, Cheongdam and Samcheong, and avoid crossing the river repeatedly in peak traffic.
