Hong Kong is where the global market meets the institutional and collecting depth of Asia-Pacific. The fair matters as much for the city around it: museum commissions, gallery programmes, private foundations and dinners turn several public days into a full cultural week.
Plan it well
Book accommodation well before tickets are released. Wan Chai is practical for the fair; Central and Admiralty work better for evening programmes. Keep at least half a day for West Kowloon.
